Checklist for obtaining a Non-exempt Well Permit

What is an exempt well?
"Exempt Well" means a well used solely for domestic use; or for providing water for livestock or poultry on a tract of land larger than ten acres, that is either drilled, completed or equipped so that it is incapable of producing more than 25,000 gallons of groundwater a day.

We do not currently require permits for non-exempt wells, but registration is required.  Please contact PCCD for more information.
